To all of our loyal Joi clientele,
We have come to the very difficult decision to close our doors for the next 2 weeks due to the COVID-19 virus. We will revisit plans to reopen on March 30th and decide at that time if a further closure is necessary.
It has become abundantly clear that what we, as a state, do, or don't do, over the course of the next few weeks will have a massive impact on the local and perhaps national trajectory of coronavirus. To all of our loyal Joi clientele, We have come to the very difficult decision to close our doors for the next 2 weeks due to the COVID-19 virus. We will revisit plans to reopen on March 30th and decide at that time if a further closure is necessary. It has become abundantly clear that what we, as a state, do, or don't do, over the course of the next few weeks will have a massive impact on the local and perhaps national trajectory of coronavirus. Our top priority is the health and safety of our clients, employees and all of our friends and families. Our governor has implemented a strict "social distancing" recommendation, which, as you know, in our industry of close personal contact, is impossible to maintain. We have been diligently practicing increased disinfecting procedures over the past three weeks, but the current recommendations go beyond that and restrict close contact in public spaces. We see and touch 100+ clients a week at Joi and it simply does not seem responsible to remain open. Please know that this closure creates a huge strain on our stylists. We love coming to Joi everyday to make each of you beautiful and it is our livelihood. We also know that this may create an inconvenience for you. We ask for your patience during this unprecedented time and ask for your support in waiting out the closure to have your hair care needs taken care of by your favorite Joi stylist upon reopening. If you currently have an appointment scheduled in the next two weeks, we will be reaching out shortly. Thank you for your patience and stay healthy ❤ The Joi Team
